Basketball Recap: Eastern Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ballard, Eastern was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 74-64 win over the Shawnee Golden Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Shawnee, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-21.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern will square off against Oldham County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern is facing Oldham County at the right time seeing as Oldham County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Shawnee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waggener at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
