Volleyball Recap: Hanover Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Hanover Central entered their tilt with Munster on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Hanover Central was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 24-26, 20-25, 25-19, 15-10.

Nora Edgerton paced Hanover Central's offense, picking up 21 kills. Edgerton got some help from Gabi Esparza and her 36 assists. Esparza was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Hanover Central's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Munster, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.

Hanover Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Illiana Christian on the 22nd. As for Munster, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Hobart on the 23rd.
