Menominee hadn't done well against Kingsford recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Maroons came out on top against the Fliwers by a score of 6-1. This was a revenge game for the Maroons: when they faced off against the Fliwers two weeks ago, they had to take a 8-2 defeat.

Menominee's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-11. As for Kingsford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Menominee will face off against Gladstone at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Maroons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kingsford, they will square off against Norway at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
