Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brynn Casey and Emma Hyde Lead Auburn to Victory

Auburn entered their tilt with Conestoga on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cougars. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Auburn was led to victory by Emma Hyde and Brynn Casey. Hyde had three digs, three aces, and two blocks, while Casey had ten digs and three aces. What's more, Hyde posted four kills, the most she's had over her last seven contests.

Despite the loss, Conestoga still got an impressive performance from Chloe Bergmeyer, who had nine digs and three blocks.

Auburn's record is now 16-10. As for Conestoga, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-9.

Auburn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on the 11th. As for Conestoga, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Brownell Talbot on the 11th.
