Soccer Recap: Garfield Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rootstown, Garfield was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Vikings a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Garfield were the better team in the second half.

Garfield now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

Looking ahead, Garfield will be playing at home against Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North, they will head out on the road to challenge Ellet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
