Volleyball Recap: Salida Beats Manitou Springs for Their Sixth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Salida had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against the Manitou Springs Mustangs by a score of 3-1. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Salida walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 18-25, 25-17, 25-22.

Salida's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Manitou Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Salida will venture away from home to challenge Gunnison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manitou Springs, they will head out to square off against Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
