Soccer Game Preview: Harrisonburg vs. Turner Ashby

The Harrisonburg Blue Streaks will venture away from home to take on the Turner Ashby Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrisonburg will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Harrisonburg's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Rockbridge County by a score of 2-0. Given Harrisonburg's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Rockbridge County are ranked 213th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Turner Ashby was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of Rocktown by a score of 2-1. The loss was Turner Ashby's first of the season.

Turner Ashby's loss dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Harrisonburg, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
