Westview proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 15) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Calexico Bulldogs 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Westview's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Deng, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Westview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .367 or higher in six consecutive games.
