Football Recap: Oceanside Takes a Loss

Oceanside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 50-14 loss at the hands of the Medomak Valley Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mariners have suffered against the Panthers since October 25, 2019.

Oceanside's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Medomak Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Oceanside is set to square off against their familiar foe Greely at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Medomak Valley will face off against rival Nokomis at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
