Archbishop McCarthy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against TERRA Environmental on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Mavericks as they're now sitting on 16 straight.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Archbishop McCarthy took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-7, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Em'Pris Seetal and Valentina Santamaria, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Fabiana Castro and her 20 assists. Brianna Masaracchio controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Archbishop McCarthy's victory bumped their record up to 26-3. As for TERRA Environmental, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 19-8.

Looking ahead, Archbishop McCarthy will welcome Lourdes Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. TERRA Environmental does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
