Mt. Blue extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 4-6 in the process. They lost 15-1 to the Hampden Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 14-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

As for Hampden, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-5. Considering they have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Hampden's part, Lolah Cowing and Kiera Gabric did most of the damage at the plate: Cowing went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles, while Gabric went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave Gabric a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Shaw, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
