Jack Ampi gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Tuesday. He was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Ampi's effort led University Prep over Central Valley and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are 9-1 against the Falcons going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
