Basketball Game Preview: Inglemoor Vikings vs. Shorecrest Scots

The Inglemoor Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Shorecrest Scots at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Inglemoor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67 points per game this season.

Last Monday, Inglemoor came up short against Lindbergh and fell 59-51.

Despite the defeat, Inglemoor got top-tier performance from Aman Sterling, who posted 22 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Sterling a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reuhen Bhalod, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Inglemoor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, everything went Shorecrest's way against Lynnwood on Tuesday as Shorecrest made off with a 73-53 victory. The Scots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Shorecrest's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Inglemoor, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
