Preview: Norwich Eagles vs. South Haven Cardinals
Norwich is 8-2 against South Haven since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Norwich Eagles are on the road again and play against the South Haven Cardinals. South Haven took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Norwich, who comes in off a win.
Norwich scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 win over Udall. Given Norwich's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Udall is ranked 229th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, South Haven came up short against West Elk on Friday and fell 50-42. South Haven has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Norwich now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South Haven, they bumped their record down to 1-2 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything went Norwich's way against South Haven in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as Norwich made off with a 65-45 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norwich since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
