Basketball Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

Orange was the 51-37 winner over Harvey when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Orange Lions were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 46-45 to the Harvey Red Raiders.

Orange has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Harvey, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-14.

Orange and Harvey could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Orange (ranked 689th) will meet Field (ranked 230th) at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Harvey will face off against Highland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday down 646 places (662 vs. 16).
