Volleyball Recap: Calabasas Coyotes vs. Moorpark Musketeers
After losing to Moorpark the last time they met, Calabasas decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Coyotes came out on top against the Musketeers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.
Calabasas had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 26-24, 25-17, 25-18.
Their offense was headlined by Abigail Salomon and Paige Bruskrud, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Grace Yang and her ten assists. Salomon was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with five each.
