Baseball Recap: Vanoss Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fletcher, Vanoss was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dickson Comets an 8-0 shutout.

Vanoss now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Dickson, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Vanoss has already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Lexington on the 28th. As for Dickson, they will square off against Marlow at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Outlaws' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Comets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
