Timberland won the last time they faced Woodland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolves skirted past the Wolverines 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Timberland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 17-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-11.

Timberland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Georgia Conyers, who had 12 kills, four aces, and one block.

The victory got Timberland back to even at 9-9. As for Woodland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
