Football Recap: Desert Mirage Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mendez last Thursday, Desert Mirage came back down to earth. The RAMS lost 38-14 to the Twentynine Palms Wildcats on Friday. If the RAMS were looking for revenge after losing 24-8 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Although Desert Mirage took the loss, they still got scores from Omar Martinez and Daniel Avila.

It was another big night for Josh Reynoso, who threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and one score for Twentynine Palms.

Desert Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Twentynine Palms, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Desert Mirage will take on Coachella Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The RAMS are facing the Mighty Arabs at the right time seeing as the Mighty Arabs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Twentynine Palms, they will challenge Desert Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
