Basketball Recap: Russellville Comes Up Short

Russellville lost against Austin back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Russellville Golden Tigers took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Black Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Tigers have lost by exactly nine points.

Russellville dropped their record down to 9-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Austin, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-19 record.

Russellville will be playing in front of their home fans against Lawrence County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Austin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
