Basketball Game Preview: West Yellowstone Wolverines vs. Twin Bridges Falcons

The West Yellowstone Wolverines will head out to square off against the Twin Bridges Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, West Yellowstone turned things around against Gardiner on Saturday. They blew past the Bruins 53-30. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Twin Bridges won against Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek on Friday with 40 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Twin Bridges walked away with a 40-33 win over Whitehall. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly seven points.

The victory made it two in a row for Twin Bridges and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for West Yellowstone, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6.

Everything came up roses for West Yellowstone against Twin Bridges when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 56-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Yellowstone since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
