Meanwhile, Delhi scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Waterford as Delhi made off with a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for Delhi, who have now won three games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Delhi got a massive performance out of Sammy Soto, who went 3-for-3 with three runs and four RBI. Isac Vargas was another key contributor, scoring three runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Denair's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Delhi, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
