Sound Christian has gone 7-1 against Northwest Yeshiva recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sound Christian Lions just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Northwest Yeshiva Lions at 7:00 p.m. Sound Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Northwest Yeshiva likes a good challenge.

Sound Christian is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Auburn Adventist just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 80-59 to the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered against the Falcons since December 8, 2014.

Sound Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Makai Resseau, who posted 14 points and six rebounds, and Kona Resseau, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mika Lester, who had 12 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Northwest Yeshiva, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They walked away with a 67-54 victory over Crosspoint Christian on Tuesday. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Northwest Yeshiva pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Sound Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.

Everything came up roses for Sound Christian against Northwest Yeshiva in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured an 82-51 victory.
