Softball Recap: Whitley County Comes Up Short

Whitley County lost against Corbin two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colonels came up short against the Redhounds, falling 11-5. The Colonels' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Whitley County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cami Price, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Whitley County's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Corbin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Coming up, Whitley County will venture away from home to face off against Leslie County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Corbin, they have already played their next match, a 6-0 defeat against South Laurel on the 1st.
