Basketball Recap: High Tech SD Comes Up Short

High Tech SD lost against Morse back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The High Tech SD Storm received a blow as they fell 56-41 to the Morse Tigers. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Morse to victory were Jayren Sunico and Jamarion Hall. Sunico went 9-for-17 on his way to 22 points, while Hall dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 boards. Hall is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 13 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaden Irasusta, who posted five points.

High Tech SD's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Morse, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Tech SD will venture away from home to face off against Crawford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crawford will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something High Tech SD surely won't give up without a fight. As for Morse, they will head out to challenge Kearny at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Kearny's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
