Basketball Recap: Kenlie Zwiener Key Part of Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

Pleasanton won the last time they faced Ansley/Litchfield and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pleasanton Bulldogs came out on top against the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans by a score of 52-40.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pleasanton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenlie Zwiener, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 13 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Zwiener continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyra Sekutera, who went 5-for-12 en route to 15 points and five boards.

Despite the loss, Ansley/Litchfield still got an impressive performance from Kerry M Ryan, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. With that strong performance, M Ryan is now averaging an impressive 2.1 blocks per game. Another player making a difference was Addilyne Rohde, who posted eight points.

Pleasanton's record is now 14-9. As for Ansley/Litchfield, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Pleasanton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-35 win against Burwell on the 21st. Ansley/Litchfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
