Softball Recap: Pell City Takes a Loss

Pell City fell victim to Hewitt-Trussville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies, falling 10-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Pell City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Pell City's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Pell City Panthers take on Sardis Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they will square off against Oak Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
