Basketball Game Preview: Orange Tornadoes vs. West Caldwell Tech Eagles

The Orange Tornadoes will head out on the road to square off against the West Caldwell Tech Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, Orange was able to grind out a solid win over Marion P. Thomas, taking the game 58-51.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for West Caldwell Tech, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against North Star Academy on Saturday, sneaking past 67-64. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory got Orange back to even at 3-3. As for West Caldwell Tech, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Orange beat West Caldwell Tech 59-46 in their previous matchup back in January of 2020. The rematch might be a little tougher for Orange since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
