Volleyball Recap: Whitefield Academy WolfPack vs. Loganville Christian Academy Lions

After flying high against McEachern on Tuesday, Whitefield Academy came back down to earth. The WolfPack fell just short of the Loganville Christian Academy Lions by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Whitefield Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-11, 15-7.

London Edmunds was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave her a new career-high.

Whitefield Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
