Softball Recap: Skyridge Falcons vs. Lone Peak Knights

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lehi, Skyridge was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Lone Peak Knights. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Hudson Ford was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isabella Plewe, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Skyridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lone Peak only posted a batting average of .250.

Skyridge's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Lone Peak, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11.
