Basketball Recap: Mcgraw Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, McGraw was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Brookfield Central Beavers 65-39. The Eagles pushed the score to 52-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Beavers cut but never quite recovered from.

McGraw's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Brookfield Central, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

McGraw has already played their next match (against Stockbridge Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brookfield Central will face off against DeRuyter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
