West Florida has gone a perfect 3-0 against Northview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Jaguars will host the Chiefs at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, West Florida came up short against Jay and fell 6-2. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Northview entered their tilt with Gulf Breeze on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Dolphins by a score of 7-4.

Bailey Burkette was a standout: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Kylee Langham, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-5.

Northview pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for West Florida, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

West Florida beat Northview 4-1 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chiefs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
