Mechanicsburg waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They strolled past the Mifflin County Huskies with points to spare, taking the game 65-47. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Huskies are ranked 295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mechanicsburg has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Mifflin County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Mechanicsburg will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Penn Manor at 5:30 p.m. As for Mifflin County, they will venture away from home to take on Lower Dauphin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
