Football Game Preview: Stewartsville/Osborn vs. Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon

Stewartsville/Osborn will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 26-72, which was the final score in Stewartsville/Osborn's tilt against Orrick last week. Stewartsville/Osborn were down by 26-72 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon faced Mound City/Craig in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon were outmatched, falling 14-64 to Mound City/Craig.

Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
