Volleyball Recap: Spanish River Find Success

Spanish River lost to Westminster Academy back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Sharks came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sharks.

The victory didn't come easy: Westminster Academy scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 15-25, 25-18.

Yeva Rozenkova paced Spanish River's offense, picking up seven kills. Rozenkova got some help from Ryland O'Neal and her 14 assists. Finally, Amelie Fortinho kept Spanish River's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.
