 The St. David's Warriors lost  14-3 to the Faith Christian Patriots on Thursday. St. David's has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 St. David's saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Smith Goracke, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Faith Christian's side,  Tanner Trevathan and  Dylan Morgan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Trevathan   struck out six batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Meanwhile,  Morgan   pitched 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. At bat,  Trevathan  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4, while  Morgan  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Adam Creef and  Noah Mayo did most of the damage at the plate:  Creef  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while  Mayo  went 1-for-1 with a  home run and three  RBI. Creef is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Vincent Wilson, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
 St. David's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Faith Christian, the  win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.
 St. David's will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Arendell Parrott Academy at 5:30  p.m. St. David's has given up an average of 7.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Faith Christian, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Rocky Mount Academy at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Rocky Mount Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9  runs per game  this season, so Faith Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
