Volleyball Recap: Southwest Christian School Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Southwest Christian School had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Southwest Christian School took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-10.

Emmy Burton paced Southwest Christian School's offense, picking up ten kills. Burton got some help from Reese Seaton and her 20 assists. Seaton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Southwest Christian School's victory bumped their record up to 17-15-2. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Southwest Christian School nor Grapevine Faith Christian have any future games scheduled.
