Arroyo has gone a perfect 10-0 against Rosemead recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 3:30 p.m. Arroyo is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

If Arroyo beats Rosemead with six runs on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Knights had just enough and edged out Bell Gardens 6-5 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 20th.

Arroyo saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andres Mardueno, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run. Gio Perez was another, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Rosemead's offense. They fell 5-0 to Marshall on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rosemead also got a good showing from Rigo Sanchez, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Sanchez hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in February.

Arroyo pushed their record up to 11-8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rosemead, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Arroyo took their victory against Rosemead when the teams last played on April 4th by a conclusive 7-0 score. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
