Baseball Recap: Altus Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Altus took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Cache, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Altus came out on top in a nail-biter against Cache on Thursday, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Altus has posted since March 18, 2025.

Altus let Xavier Pitts and Tate Saxon run wild. Pitts went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Saxon went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Saxon has launched this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Altus, bringing their record up to 9-11-1.
