Basketball Game Preview: Pantego Christian Panthers vs. Highlands Blazers

The Pantego Christian Panthers will square off against the Highlands Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pantego Christian will be strutting in after a win while Highlands will be coming in after a loss.

Pantego Christian is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 67-47 margin over Covenant Classical.

Meanwhile, Highlands had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 74-48 to UME Preparatory Academy. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Everything came up roses for Pantego Christian against Highlands in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, as the team secured a 52-20 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blazers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
