Basketball Recap: David Emanuel Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, David Emanuel Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 66-28 loss at the hands of the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-56 last Monday.

Despite the loss, David Emanuel Academy had strong showings from Peyton Lee, who posted 17 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks, and Karson Kettles, who scored six points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Lee a new career-high in blocks.

David Emanuel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Thomas Jefferson Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.
