It was a good run, but Gallatin County unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrisburg Bulldogs. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Gallatin County may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18.

Harrisburg can attribute much of their success to Hadley Hunt, who had 11 digs. That's the most digs Hunt has posted over her last six matchups.

Gallatin County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Harrisburg, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Gallatin County will challenge Pope County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrisburg, they will square off against Herrin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
