Basketball Recap: Enumclaw Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Enumclaw, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They strolled past the Federal Way Eagles with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 54-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-25 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Federal Way lost, don't look at Bianca Lopez-Ventura. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points and four steals. Lopez-Ventura continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Elia Baker, who earned five points and four steals.

Enumclaw pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Federal Way, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Enumclaw wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-31 loss against Decatur on the 17th. As for Federal Way, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-53 defeat against White River on the 16th.
