Football Recap: Mt. Gilead Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mt. Gilead can now relate to. They took a blow against the Colonel Crawford Eagles on Friday, falling 42-8. The Indians have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Mt. Gilead's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Colonel Crawford, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

As of now, neither Mt. Gilead nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
