Volleyball Recap: Mount St. Charles Academy Starts off Right with Win over Marianapolis Prep

Mount St. Charles Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Marianapolis Prep Golden Knights by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Mounties, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mount St. Charles Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 23-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Camryn Bedrossian paced Mount St. Charles Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Bedrossian got some help from Chloe Marcotte and her 14 assists. Sylvee Lemire controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Mount St. Charles Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against St. George's on the 17th. Marianapolis Prep has also already played their next game (against Brooks), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
