Football Recap: Siuslaw Piles Up the Points Against South Umpqua + How To Watch

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Siuslaw on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the South Umpqua Lancers out of the water with a 48-13 final score. The Vikings pushed the score to 41-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lancers had little chance of recovering from.

Siuslaw can attribute much of their success to Jericho Lake, who threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

The victory made it two in a row for Siuslaw and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games. As for South Umpqua, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Siuslaw will head out on the road to square off against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
