Soccer Recap: Bishop Moore Has No Trouble Against Jones

With a playoff win on the line, Bishop Moore rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Jones Fightin' Tigers onto the board and left with a 9-0 win. That nine goal margin sets a new team best for the Hornets this season.

Their offense was hitting Jones from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Sienna Rivera led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Bishop Moore's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-2. As for Jones, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-8.

Bishop Moore will take on Mount Dora at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
