Basketball Recap: Sullivan Comes Up Short

Sullivan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Rolla Bulldogs 64-23. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 482nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 31st).

Sullivan's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Rolla, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Sullivan and Salem will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Rolla, they will square off against St. James at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
