Basketball Recap: Botkins Beats Parkway for Their Fourth Straight Win

Botkins lost to Parkway back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Botkins Trojans came out on top against the Parkway Panthers by a score of 38-25. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Panthers are ranked 349th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Botkins' fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. As for Parkway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Botkins will finish 2024 at home by hosting Minster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkway, they will take on Centerburg in a tournament on Friday.
