Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brandon). They came out on top against the King Lions by a score of 11-8 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-11. As for King, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Brandon is taking a road trip to square off against Spoto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for King, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-1 loss against Leto on the 12th.
